Job description
You work out strategies. As a senior consultant, you are aware of your client’s business challenges and translate them into viable, high-impact communication strategies and campaigns. You help clients make informed decisions about their communication approach – both in their proactive brand building and in issue management and crisis communication.
You organise. Based on communication strategies and plans, you ensure precise execution of the strategy. As a senior consultant, you are the point of contact for the client and closely monitor the work of internal and external team members. You ensure that campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality, and you report on the outcome to the client.
You lead the way. Clients count on you to provide valuable insights and creative solutions that have an impact on their reputation and brand. You ensure that all noses are in the same direction, both among colleagues and freelancers with whom you work for your clients.
Profile
You have an academic master’s degree (not necessarily in communications) or equivalent experience. You have built up considerable experience in a marketing, communications or public affairs role and have learned to keep a cool head in ever-changing situations.
For you, a strategy is a mandate to do things. You like to grow brands and reputations through concrete actions. You can zoom in on details when needed and zoom back out to see the bigger picture – and the next step in the client’s journey.
You are analytical. You see connections between facts and can turn them into a compelling story.
You are empathetic. You know your own strengths and weaknesses and can understand the point of view of others. You are committed to integrity.
